What Ailo is
Ailo is a camera-first voice call with AI. The camera preview stays on your iPhone. When you ask a question, the app may send one still image with your spoken words so Ailo can answer out loud.
What we process
- Spoken questions (and a transcription of them) for the current turn.
- An optional JPEG still selected for that turn — not a continuous video stream.
- An anonymous installation identifier used only for usage limits.
- Call duration and Plus / minute-pack reports sent by the app.
What we do not do in V1
- We do not require a user account.
- The backend does not archive camera frames to disk or object storage.
- We do not upload live video to the AI provider.
- We do not sell personal data.
AI processing
Still frames and text needed to answer a turn are sent to Anthropic (Claude) from our server. The Anthropic API key never lives in the iOS app.
